IWU Cinema Society

Student Organizations Arts

We strive to achieve an environment where members can voice opinions and learn more about the films they watch in everyday life. We use the device of film to learn, grow, and develop in our knowledge and understanding of the world. Our club is welcoming to any and all who want to further their appreciation of film and society and speak their mind. mission statement: IWU film society will exist to provide the students of Illinois Wesleyan a means to deeply analyze film. The IWU Cinema Society is a student-run organization that works towards giving students a comfortable and unregulated environment to watch movies, have discussions, and learn more about film. We are dedicated to creating an inviting space where everyone's opinion matters. We not only hold weekly meetings to watch and discuss movies, but also help sponsor film-related events on campus.
