Spanish Club

Student Organizations Cultural

Spanish Club is a group of students who want to practice using the Spanish language in multiple contexts, volunteer in the Spanish-speaking community, and learn about Spanish-speaking cultures. We meet throughout the semester and engage in activities and games that promote the Spanish language and culture. A knowledge of the Spanish language is not required, but by coming to the club, can be learned. In partnership with the World Languages, Literatures and Cultures department, Spanish Club promotes volunteer opportunities within the IWU community. Additionally, Spanish Club supports Hispanic Studies courses and promotes events happening within the department. Spanish Club also seeks opportunities in the Bloomington-Normal community that are connected to the Spanish language and culture.

Meetings: We meet at various times and locations, depending on the availability and interests of students.

Membership requirements: The only requirement is an appreciation of the Spanish language and Spanish-speaking cultures.

Membership dues: There are no dues.
