Student Organizations Volunteer

This organization was started by an overwhelming desire to help those in need who live in developing countries. As college students, we feel a longing to help but it can be hard when you live on the other side of the world and don’t have the time or funds to travel. However, we realize that there are plenty of things that people in these developing countries are in desperate need of that we can provide here in Bloomington, Illinois! Whether that be letters to the children to brighten their week, bandaids to cover their open wounds and prevent further infection, wet wipes to prevent the many diseases they obtain, toothpaste to prevent their teeth from rotting, food that will feed their families even if it is just for a few days, blankets to lay on when they sleep opposed to a dirty street in the middle of the city, or even fundraising money for the many ways it is needed. Our club is designed to be the helping hand here at IWU where students can contribute to the profit of people on the other side of the world.
