Peace Corps Prep

Student Organizations Activism

In 2016, IWU became a Peace Corps Prep institution. This aligns with our mission and allows the university to better serve our students, our community, and the world. IWU students are increasingly focused on domestic and international service. Interest in programs such as the Peace Corps, Teach for America, and AmeriCorps continues to grow. Students who formally enroll in the Peace Corps Prep program and successfully complete a series of requirements (work on campus and in the community), will receive a certificate from the Peace Corps. Students in the Peace Corps Prep RSO do not have to be officially enrolled in the Peace Corps Prep program but it is encouraged.

Meetings: The RSO will meet monthly on the first Wednesday of the month from 4-5pm. RSO members will be encouraged to attend special events and workshops that align with the mission of Peace Corps Prep.

Membership requirements: No special requirements. However, we encourage students to formally enroll in the Peace Corps Prep program.

Membership dues: No dues
